Top Tools Apps Performance on Android in Italy: Q1 2025

In the first quarter of 2025, the Italian market saw notable activity in the tools category on the Android platform. Here's a look at the performance of the top five tools apps, based on data from Sensor Tower.

iliad from Iliad Italia SpA had a dynamic quarter with weekly downloads peaking at approximately 175K in mid-February. However, downloads gradually decreased to about 37K by the end of March. Active users saw an increase early in the quarter, reaching around 105K in February before steadily declining to 52K at the quarter's close.

CieID maintained strong engagement throughout the quarter. Weekly downloads started at 57K, with minor fluctuations, ending at 46K. The app's active user base remained robust, starting at 1.05M and closing the quarter with a slight increase to 1.01M.

Pool Browser demonstrated a consistent download pattern, starting with 12K downloads in early January and peaking at 56K in mid-January. Active users showed a positive trend, growing from 12K to 137K by the end of March.

INPS Mobile experienced a stable download rate, beginning at 25K and seeing a minor increase to 33K in March. Active users fluctuated, starting at 936K, peaking at 1.27M in mid-January, and closing at 786K.

Samsung Smart Switch Mobile maintained consistent download numbers, averaging around 31K to 39K weekly. Active user trends were steady throughout the quarter, closing with approximately 268K users.
